LOTTE Mart is designing new lifestyles for its 100 million global customersHomepage
Pioneering a new culture in distribution Since first opening the Gangbyeon branch in Guui-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on April 1, 1998, LOTTE Mart expanded its organization from "LOTTE Magnet Business Department" to "LOTTE Magnet Business Division" in November 1999, and spun off into an independent management system starting from April 2003. It took over 14 GS Mart stores on February 9, 2010 and, on June 1, changed their name to LOTTE Mart.
Since then, it has opened additional branches throughout the country and pursued aggressive overseas marketing strategies. As a result, it operates 220 branches (95 in Korea, 125 overseas) around the globe (as of April 2012).
