LOTTE Expanding Global Networking to Strengthen ‘One LOTTE’ Initiative 2025.06.16 페이스북 공유하기

■ LOTTE Group participated in the 2025 CGF Global Summit held in the Netherlands from June 10 to 13
■ CEOs of Korean and Japanese LOTTE Group companies explored cooperation with global consumer goods companies and sought new overseas markets

From June 10 to 13, LOTTE took part in the 2025 Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Global Summit, held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Founded in 1953, CGF is a global consortium of consumer goods companies, with over 400 manufacturers and retailers from 70 countries as members, and includes key member companies such as Amazon, Walmart, Aeon, and Nestlé. LOTTE has been an active member since 2012.

At this year’s CGF Global Summit, CEOs from both Korean and Japanese LOTTE Group companies attended the event together, showcasing the Group's competitiveness through the synergy of the “One LOTTE” initiative. Attendees included Samuel Sang-hyun Kim, Head of LOTTE Retail; Yun Gie Park, CEO of LOTTE Chilsung Beverage; Chang-Yup Lee, CEO of LOTTE Wellfood; Yoo-yeol Shin, Head of Future Growth Division at LOTTE; Genichi Tamatsuka, CEO of LOTTE Holdings Japan; and Hideki Nakashima, CEO of LOTTE Corporation Japan.

At the venue, Lotte promoted its brands and products through an experiential meeting room and a wellness lounge.

Since the “One LOTTE Food Business Strategy Meeting” chaired by LOTTE Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin in August last year, the Korean and Japanese divisions of LOTTE have continued to collaborate in areas such as raw material procurement, product exports, and joint marketing. Notably, exports of Pepero, LOTTE’s first global mega-brand product, increased by 30% year-on-year to KRW 70.1 billion KRW last year.

During the summit, executives from both countries also met with top leaders of global consumer goods companies to explore opportunities for entering new overseas markets. Key meetings included those with Pepsi Co (U.S. food & beverage company), Ocado (U.K. internet retail firm), and NTUC FairPrice (Singapore’s largest retailer), all of whom already maintain business ties with LOTTE Group. These meetings reviewed ongoing business progress and performance and explored further collaboration and international expansion strategies.

At the event venue, the Group set up an interactive meeting room and a wellness lounge to promote its brands and products. The meeting room showcased LOTTE’s core businesses in food, retail, chemicals, and hospitality, along with popular domestic and international products such as Choco Pie, Guylian chocolates, and zero-calorie products. The wellness lounge provided participants with a relaxing space and the opportunity to sample signature LOTTE products.

A LOTTE representative stated, “This was a valuable opportunity to network with leading global consumer goods companies and confirm the competitiveness of our products in the global market. We plan to accelerate overseas market expansion through sustained partnerships with global enterprises.”
