We aim to contribute to the enrichment of human life through AI innovation and ethical practices.
Therefore, we hereby establish the 'LOTTE Group AI Ethics Charter' as a standard for appropriate behavior and value judgment that all employees must observe throughout the entire process of developing and utilizing AI services.
This Charter is based on the AI ethics guidelines of UNESCO and ROK's Ministry of Science and ICT.
We pledge to faithfully follow this Charter and put it into practice.
- 1.We strive to create value that benefits humanity and society through AI technology, and we do not infringe upon human autonomy and dignity.
- 2.We ensure that AI embraces diverse cultures, values, and perspectives, and prevents unfair discrimination.
- 3.We establish a rigorous security system throughout the entire process of developing and operating AI systems, providing trustworthy AI services.
- 4.As members involved in AI development and utilization, we maintain a strong sense of ownership and clearly define our roles and responsibilities.
- 5.We manage AI algorithms and data systematically and transparently, in accordance with clear principles and standards.
- 6.We promote solidarity among diverse groups through AI technology and contribute to the global advancement of AI.
